We fish all of the Kenai Peninsula, not just one river or one body of water like most charters do. We live in Alaska year round on the Kenai Peninsula. Over the years we have learned the very best places and times to fish for, Halibut, King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Red Salmon, Ling Cod, Rock Fish and Yellow Eye. Most people say they come to Alaska for the fishing, but we have found that most of them come to Alaska for the catching, because we all know you can fish anywhere! “It’s the catching part that can be hard”. With our many years of knowledge and experience sport fishing we can pinpoint exactly when and where the fishing will be at its peak. There is a place and time for everything, fishing in Alaska is no different. You want to be where the fish are! We fish the primetime (peak of the runs) in Deep Creek, Ninilchik, Anchor Point, Homer, Seward, Kasilof River and the Kenai River. Saltwater FishingHalibut Fishing Homer and Seward are well known for long boat rides to the halibut fishing grounds. That is why we do most of our Alaska halibut fishing charters from Deep Creek, Ninilchik and Anchor Point. A short boat ride and you’re catching halibut. 99% of our halibut fishing trips limit out and NO we don’t make you keep the first two fish up to the boat. We only fish one group of anglers a day (NO DOUBLES). So you will have plenty of opportunity to fill your freezer or bag that barn door. The bottom line is that long boat rides mean less fishing time! (More travel time). Salmon Fishing King Salmon fishing in Cook Inlet can be a battle of the fittest, Mother Nature verses angler with rod and reel. Chrome bright giant kings up to 80 lbs will test physical being. Homer Alaska is home to the winter King Salmon derby in March with a grand prize of $15,000 to $20,000 for the biggest king of the day. So for you die hard fishermen, book your Alaska Salmon fishing charter early. Silver Salmon fishing in Seward is normally a fast and furious thing. The clean blue water can boil with hundreds of shiny silvers just waiting to attack your bait.
Ling Cod & Rock Fish Ling Cod grow to 65 lbs or more and are a tough fish to bring in. If you want to fight a monster this is where line will scream and poles will bend. Rock fish are everywhere and are fun to catch for both the beginner and the experienced angler. Freshwater FishingKenai River Fishing The Kenai River is a trophy fishery. Where else in the world are 80 lbs plus Kings caught every year? The world record king salmon was caught here and river is right in the heart of the Peninsula. Kasilof River Fishing The Kasilof River is a drift boat only fishery allowing for wildlife watching as well as great salmon fishing.
